Italian modern metal band ELYNE have released their new single ‘Wake Up’ (8th February 2019). Watch the video for ‘Wake Up’ here:

On the ‘Wake Up’, Danny Faccani (vocals) comments “We want to invite people to start thinking with their own minds. This is basically what ‘Wake Up’ is about. We want them to rise up against any form of religious institution and oppression.”

Talking about the video, Danny continues: “Working with director and DOP, Pavel Trebuchin is always awesome. He already directed our music videos for ‘Demons’ and ‘Stand Tall’ and killed it, so we were sure about having him again on board to direct the video for ‘Wake Up’. We choose to get a dark vs bright mood to the video to get people into the contrast between the two ways of thinking, close one vs open one. We used flames to represent the angry voice of the people and snakes to represent sins and evil in today’s society.”

Forming in 2013, ELYNE immediately found themselves touring, including shows with Chelsea Grin,ArchitectsSworn In, and Being As An Ocean. In 2015 the band released the single ‘Frames’ and went on their first European headline tour, before releasing their second full length Alibi in April 2017, which reached #3 on the national Metal iTunes Chart.

The release of Alibi saw ELYNE play Home Festival (100,000 attendance) for the first time, one of Italy’s largest music festivals, before ending the year with Of Mice & Men.

ELYNE will tour across Europe and UK this year. Dates to be announced soon.
