INCITE, the groove metal four piece fronted by Richie Cavalera, have announced their new album, Built To Destroy will arrive on 25th January 2019 via MinusHEAD Records. This week, the band have also revealed they’ll be playing a short string of UK dates in November.
Richie Cavalera tells us “Bringing the Burn and Shred to the U.K. is going to be insane! Get ready for some serious heavy metal!” Those coming out to the shows should expect to hear some exclusive new tunes from the new album, which was produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence) and mastered by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed). Check out its first track, Ruthless Ways here:
The UK ‘Burn & Shred’ dates rack up as follows:
Wed 28th Nov – STOKE Underground
Thu 29th Nov – MILTON KEYNES Craufurd Arms
Fri 30th Nov – PETERBOROUGH Met Lounge
Sat 1st Dec – BRIDGEWATER Cobblestones
Sun 2nd Dec – LONDON New Cross Inn
Tickets for all shows are available over at www.bandsintown.com/a/18304.
As disciples of trailblazing metal like Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura and Machine Head, INCITE is as much a part of the groove metal sound championed by Lamb of God, as they are the fresh surge of contemporary thrash like Power Trip. INCITE have perfected their brand of extremity over the years, cutting their teeth opening for the likes of DevilDriver, Crowbar, Brujeria, Soulfly and Cancer Bats.
INCITE are set to spend December on the road in the US with Six Feet Under for their Xmas In Hell tour, before heading out on a 6 week US run with Soulfly and Kataklysm in early 2019. Expect to see INCITE back on UK shores next Summer.
