Ahead of hitting the road with the Impericon Never Say Die Tour from early November, South Wales’ Casey have revealed the video for latest single ‘The Funeral’, taken form the band’s second record ‘Where I Go Where When I Am Sleeping’ released earlier this year via Hassle Records. In introducing the new video, vocalist Tom Weaver shares:

“We are once again incredibly please to be collaborating with our longstanding creative director and friend, Martyna Wisniewska, and take great pride and pleasure in presenting to you the cinematic new video for our latest single, The Funeral.”

This new video has been released just ahead of the band heading out on the ‘Never Say Die Tour 2018’,which kicks off in Germany on November 2nd, as the start of the 21 date tour through Europe and the UK, including a stop at London’s’ KOKO. Tickets are on sale now and available from the Impericon site, right HERE. Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming tour, Weaver explains:

“Years ago, I remember attending the Never Say Die tour, it gave me the chance to see bands like Parkway Drive for the first time, as well as cult favourites like War From A Harlots Mouth. Thinking back, the scale of that tour was always something I’d dreamed of achieving for myself, and now that I have, it’s no less surreal than I pictured it would be. We’re honoured to be appearing across Europe as part of this year’s production, and can’t wait to spend a long November surrounded by friends, new and old”

Casey’s affecting latest album ‘Where I Go When I Am Sleeping’ – produce by Brad Wood (Touché Amoré, Sunny Day Real Estate, Placebo) – was released via Hassle Records in March this year. ‘Where I Go When I Am Sleeping’ is a deeply personal journey through Weaver’s various afflictions.

“I was diagnosed with brittle bones at birth,” he explains, “and when I was 15 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and at 20 I was diagnosed with manic depression. I’ve also had a heart attack and a stroke and I was in this crazy car accident that crushed half my face. They’re big life events, but a lot of the stuff that’s happened to me medically was stuff that I was just living through at the time. Looking back now, though, I realize I could have died four or five times. I’m lucky to be here.”
